This is our best selling floating shelf with hidden steel mounting bracket. Constructed from solid Douglas Fir this is the pinnacle of floating shelf designs. This 1.5 inch thick floating shelf is designed to carry considerable loads. We have tested this system and the shelf can easily hold 50lbs for each stud to which it is mounted. These floating shelves are ideal for use in your kitchen, office, livingroom, bedroom, laundry room, playroom or bathroom. These shelves are as great hit in kid’s bedrooms and we have dressed entire pantries with this system. Our 1.5” thick floating shelves with hidden steel brackets are a cost effective way to level up your floating shelf game.
Available in a variety of finishes, lengths and depths this is a truly versatile product. Every floating shelf is made to order and can be customized to your exact specifications. With lengths available from 18” up to 96” and shelf depths of 6”, 8”, 12” and 16” these the most versatile and easily incorporated floating shelves on the market.
Our stain coats are of the highest quality using premium water-based stains from the “General Finishes” company. These finishes provide a lasting odor free finish making your project instantly home-ready. Our standard finish is Satin Polyurethene although we can accomodate any finish sheen you desire. We can also finish these products using Shellac if requested. Our painted floating shelves are completed using Benjamin Moore Advance paint over Zinsser Smart Prime. We always finish with a satin Polyurethane as standard unless otherwise requested. Every 1.5” thick floating shelf unit ships with the matching custom solid steel mounting bracket and hardware. When installed correctly our 60” shelf has been tested to carry loads exceeding 200lbs.
Installation of all our floating shelves and floating mantels is a very easy 5 step process requiring minimal tools. All of the hardware is provided with your shelf or mantel, including the heavy guage steel hidden floating shelf bracket and the necessary screws. The bracket is mounted (level) to the studs inside your wall using the supplied hardware and the shelf is simply slipped onto the bracket rods. The longer the bracket the more studs you will fasten into thus increasing the shelf capacity, longer shelves carry larger loads!
The Aria and Timber shelves are made in our Southern Maryland workshop with care and attention to detail. Our mission is to provide an American Made product that cannot be found at a big box store or on Amazon.
All of our shelves will ship in bespoke secure wrapping and boxes via UPS.
